AoE 3 custom UIs

Ekanta-Eaglemut Simple TAD UI

Behold my first experiment with changing the game's UI. Note I've made my changes on top of modifications done by Ekanta, whose original UI you can get here.
Also big thanks to the creators of AoE3Ed, which makes it easy to convert the needed UI files to editable as well as compile them back.

The modifications I made actually mostly just remove stuff from the UI to make it a bit more simple. Changes were inspired by popular user requests here.

Changelog

1.1.0 (released 2017-06-19)

Restored King of the Hill timer to its original cooler appearance (same as official UI).
Clicking on villager count or military unit count will now select a relevant unit.
Re-added unit control group banners, they are displayed on top left next to the current age and are a bit smaller than on official UI. Remember you can still disable these in the UI section of game settings.
Fixed population count font not scaling properly on 1366px-wide screens.
Polished global queue position and fixed overlap with notification pop-ups (notifications now have priority).
Updated art in places of removed Ekanta functionalities.
All changes were made to both the transparent and non-transparent versions of the UI.

1.0.0 (released 2016-04-03)

The general queue of units/improvements/etc has been moved next to the Idle Villagers flag.
Removed the following indicators/tools to reduce visual clutter: Factory count, Bank count, Warrior Priest count, Shrine count, Friend or Foe colors toggle, Easy Drag Military toggle, Market sell and buy buttons, Idle Wagons, Idle Military, Idle Naval Military.
In place of removed features, the Home City flag has been enlarged as well as the total population indicator.
All changes were made to both the transparent and non-transparent versions.

Requirements

Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties expansion or just the complete collection.

You do not need to have the original Ekanta TAD UI installed.

Installation instructions

Unpack everything into your main Age of Empires III folder, where the game was installed. If you're unsure, some of the typical locations are:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III Complete
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Age of Empires III\bin

That's it! Open up the game and enjoy your new UI.

Uninstallation instructions

Completely remove folder "ingame" located in (your main aoe3 folder)/art/ui/

Remove all files starting with "ui" from location (your main aoe3 folder)/data/

You should be back on the standard official UI now.
